“Dr. Shannon is the best veterinarian we have ever had. We have a whole zoo at our house, and we trust her with each of our furry family members.
We’ve had our pets go through highs and true lows, and each time we’ve been more than comfortable with their care in Dr. Shannon’s hands. You can tell she loves what she does as well as each of her patients. She goes above and beyond, will literally get on the floor with your pet to make them comfortable, and has kind and patient energy.

Zeke is a four year-old miniature Aussie Shepherd, and ever since we’ve owned them for the last three years we’ve always given him just a trim and left him long hair. This time because of the extreme heat …we asked Sora, His stylus to clip him much shorter so that he could be comfortable when he goes outside.. She did a wonderful job. Zeke is very comfortable with her and he really appreciates her wonderful treatment. He looks beautiful. He was happy when I came to pick him up and Look like she had any bite marks on …just joking. He had a wonderful experience his mom and I appreciate the way he looks and the prices right wonderful, wonderful place. Wonderful people thank you so much.“

“im very picky when it comes to Cesar my fur baby and his groomer that I have found here is approved in my book. He got a wonderful cut exactly the way I wanted him. No nicks . Had to bathe him on 2 separate occasions but right away she said bring him back in and she would handle it because of Texas allergies. Thanks so much and we definitely plan on going back to you“

“I came to San Antonio because my mom was hospitalized and not doing well at the time. I had to bring my puppy, Buddy but he wasn’t allowed in the ICU. I searched online and found Good Dog was located on the way to the hospital from my hotel.
It was amazing! Buddy was a bit nervous but after his initial “test” he was in!!! When I picked him up the young lady at the front desk told me how great Buddy was and shared how a few things about his day. I told my phone had died on the way and I had no way to navigate back to my hotel…she offered me their charging cable…way above what I expected! Buddy was so excited when we returned the next 3 days!!!!?
They made a stressful time so much easier! Thanks to all the staff❤️

“Great place to take your pup for a little spa treatment in their self wash station located in the lobby. Just like a professional groomer would use. It's only $15.⁰⁰ and there is shampóo, conditioner apron, towels, dryer and safety harnesses to prevent injury. Also the tub is positioned high with a dóor to allow your pup access. No appointment was necessary and there was no wait. Check out all the services provided online or ask when you go in. Clean modern and great staff. Highly recommend!“

I didn't feel pressured on not extending additional services that were an option or unnecessary for my dog, like I always felt with my other Vet). “After checking out other boarding facilities we decided to bring our 16 year old cat here. We have never boarded her but needed to because she is now on a medication that needs to be given twice a day. We stopped by to tour the facility and were greeted with polite staff who were happy to answer all our questions and put us at ease. I called the day before dropping off to make sure I had everything they needed and asked about filling out paperwork before hand. Again, they were super nice and even inquired how active my cat is due to her ago, they were trying to figure out which size 'cage' would be best. Day of drop off went smooth and we were able to see her and say our 'see ya laters'. She of course was not sure what was going on and had the look of betrayal. During her stay I was constantly checking in on her and they were very responsive and honest. My cat refused to eat the first 24 hours and didn't seem to drink much either. The staff mentioned if she is still not eating the next day they will have to bring her to the vet to make sure she's still healthy. We decided to cut our trip short and pick her up. She was very happy to be home (we think she may have thought we abandoned her). She did lose weight while she was there but that's because she wasn't eating. We feel the staff did everything they could to encourage her to eat and be comfortable but she's a very timid cat. We are going to ease back into boarding her here in the future and hopefully it will work out for her. I highly recommend this place for cat boarding.“
