We arrived at Animal Emergency Center of Killeen close to 2200hrs and our beloved Cosmo was immediately taken to a examination room. The wait was not long all things considered and the medical staff attended to Cosmo and presented us with options. All told it was a very dignified, respectful, and peaceful process and I cannot thank the team at Animal Emergency Center enough for their care and professionalism. I highly recommend.

Even after taking a few days to put my gratitude into words, I still don’t feel like I have all the right ones to express my appreciation for this place. Dr. Meuli, Genneane our technician, and the rest of the team that helped us were professional, friendly, and clearly loved the animals they worked with. Dr. Meuli explained all of our treatment options while gently relaying the realistic outcomes for each one. After making the emotional decision to let our little Callie permanently sleep, the team was very supportive and patient as we said our goodbyes.Some of the other reviews complain about the wait time here. Y’all aren’t bad…. but if I tell y’all my cat has stitches from a previous surgery she just had, then you all as “veterinarians” should do better on how you guys handle our animals that are already vulnerable and in pain.I didn’t like the way she was being handled in front of me so that was another reason why i wouldn’t have her stay over night. I would rather her get everything she needs done at her own vet than here . Seeing how you all were stretching my baby out AFTER i told y’all yesterday and today that she still has her stitches definitely takes away the trust for when i’m not there .And also if you guys could give more direct answers instead...read full review
