Let me start by saying that We loved and admired our mother. She was in Hospice care in my home.It was very hard to watch her decline and all the while knowing that she was going to be leaving soon.When the Angels came to get her I was holding her hand and felt the life leave her body…She was 96 years old. Then the really hard part started. She was pronounced at 10:00 pm. McCoy & Harrison wasted no time in getting to my home.The attendants were so kind and compassionate.They treated Mommy’s body with such dignity.I commented on how much easier it was on us because they didn’t use one of those old crushed velvet covers with the name printed on it. McCoy & Harrison proved to me why they are in business for over 100 years. They genuinely care for people. I volunteer to work with young folks in schools along with the sick and shut-in at nursing centers. To improve our activities, I sought support from businesses like funeral directors. McCoy & Harrison was the only one that gave us the aid we needed for over ten years. A little kindness and acknowledgement makes a huge difference in the lives of families. McCoy & Harrison's support allowed us to expand our work. They are a living gift to our city because they practice their mission to serve others. Thank you for being there for us.

McCoy & Harrison Funeral Home was so compassionate, caring & accommodating during the planning of my father’s home going services. There was no pressure of any kind placed on any of the family and each of the staff members were so kind and accommodating. A special thank you to Mr. Thompson and Pam for your hands on help in letting us honor my father with a service that he would have been very pleased with.
