“I had a chicken with pretty bad bumblefoot. Took her to the vet close to me who supposedly treats birds. He quoted a ridiculous price including blood work and anesthesia. Also, not as knowledgeable as he should have been. I found Clear Creek Forest through a chicken Facebook group. So glad I did!!! Howard Davenport was great. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to surgically remove the 3 hard kernels of infection and get my chicken on the road to recovery. I drove 45 minutes there and it was completely worth it. His price was so reasonable and a fraction of what the other vet wanted. I have found my chicken vet!!!!“
