“My first visit here for a new patient exam. I moved here from the Gulf Coast and was almost overwhelmed by the number of vision care centers to choose from. I basically chose Wood Vision Source because of their close proximity to my home and the reviews on Google. I was not disappointed. In fact, the acknowledgement and attention I received was flattering and a welcome change. From the front desk reception, to the care and knowledge of the optometrist and his assistants and the help provided by the eyeglasses technician, I was impressed every step of the way. In addition to all the above, their fees were well within my budget. A refreshing change from my norm. I'm horrible with remembering names, so can't identify individuals, but they were all great! “Dr Zack Faust saved me from going BLIND!!! I had gone to a low cost dr I had been going to for years. I reported a “dark curtain to my regular optometrist and he didn’t see my retina was torn and detached. 2 week later and 100+ beach volleyball games later… Dr Zack Faust listened and found the issue in minutes and then through has network of eye professionals was able to get be schedule same day for emergency surgery. “Wonderful! Excellent! I was referred here by a church friend after I told her how urgent my father's cataract situation was. My father was constantly put on hold for surgery when he went to South Texas Eye Institute (basically three months, and more). Once we came to Parkhurst, however, the surgery was performed basically in the same week! The staff is friendly and dad said they feel like real caring doctors... something that's becoming rare to find these days

“I recently had cataracts removed in both of my eyes at Lenza Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas. My surgeon was Dr Caldwell of the Eye Associatrs group, and I was extremely pleased with every level of care I encountered from pre-operation to post-op care. From the receptionists who greeted me with a friendly smile to the nurses and attendants in the operating theater, who took such care to be sure I was comfortable, to the anesthesiologist who made it possible for me to actually watch the procedure as it was happening (an optional offering), and to Dr. Caldwell who was very caring and made sure I was comfortable with the procedure. It was done so professionally that I had almost no discomfort. I didn’t even need to take aspirin afterwards. I was amazed at how clearly I could see, especially since I didn’t think my eyesight was that bad. It was like being given 10 more years of life. I will always be grateful to every person who attended me every step of the way.“
