“I had an irritated eye, what I thought was allergies. On day three I had to make a 2 hr drive to San Antonio, but my eye was bothering me so badly that it made driving unsafe. In desperation I pulled in this optometrist office, hoping to get drops for the pain. When the receptionist asked if I could come back in two hours, I was going to bag it, but Dr. Pratt walked by, saw I was suffering, and said he'd squeeze me in. Thank God, because it wasn't allergies. It was a embedded metal shard (a few days earlier I had been cutting metal roofing, but wearing very good glasses, so I was confident that the problem was allergies). Dr Pratt removed the metal, and removed the rust stain. Very professional -- very, very competent....And I am SO glad I stopped here instead of my local minor emergency clinic. This doctor is the best!“
“We needed new glasses and wanted a new vision center. My husband stumbled upon San Marcos Vision Center and we really like it. They were able to get us in the next day which was a pleasant surprise. They also are very clear about an extra test that they perform and the charge for that. They are very thorough! The staff are very nice. They explain everything and Dr. Sturm was very easy going and friendly. He knows his stuff and was familiar with my medical condition that effect my eyes. That was really good to know. My husband loves Oakley frames and they do not carry them but he can always order the frames. If you need to get your eyes checked, make an appointment and check them out.“

“I had my annual eye appointment today. I was concerned as it’s a new town, new Doctor, etc. What a wonderful experience!! Everyone was so helpful, put my mind at ease, and over all super nice. From the front desk through to the new glasses/lenses. Let me just say, the new devise that they used instead of the air puff machine, totally worth the visit alone. Over all I would rate them 11 out of 10 !!“
