Coming from the D.C. VA, I was prepared for issues with the VA but was pleasantly surprised. I've received the best care here. My primary and specialty care physicians are responsive and thorough.
Relocating from Denver to the RGV, I was apprehensive about transferring my VA care, but the Harlingen clinic exceeded every expectation. The facility is spotless and the staff is exceptionally thorough. For years, I suffered from chronic ankle and knee pain, only to be dismissed by Colorado providers who claimed they saw 'nothing.' Incredibly, during my first visit here, Dr. Melendez reviewed that same imaging and immediately identified bilateral bone spurs and arthritis throughout my feet and knees. The competence here is on another level—the Harlingen team is a model of what veteran care should be.
I've read many bad reviews but I just don't see it......been coming here for 10 years and easy in, register, and out within 30 minutes, My doc is excellent, hospital staff treats me right and with respect........Gold Team is awesome.
