One customer had trouble with a hot water heater and appreciated the quick response, with the crew coming out within an hour for a quote and starting the job the next day. After installation, the hot water still was not working right, and Pedro came back to inspect everything, finding a small hidden water leak under the house. The crew spent several days troubleshooting and tracking down the issue the right way, working late and showing up on the weekend without extra charges beyond the original quote. Another customer had plumbing leaks that other plumbers could not find. Charles carefully inspected both bathrooms and pinpointed where water was getting behind the walls and under the floors, explaining everything in simple terms. For a main sewer line backup, Jerry and Wayne arrived right on time, found the main line was not crushed, and cleaned it out without an unnecessary replacement, saving thousands. Another visit had Charles fixing a faucet in less than five minutes when another plumber said it would require tearing out brick. During the early planning for our remodel, a plumbing company was recommended to handle the plumbing side of the job. Thankfully, while Pedro was checking the scope of work, he found that a shower drain had not been properly reconnected, along with a few other plumbing items that needed to be corrected to meet code from a previous shower remodel done by another contractor. Pedro and Charles helped get everything scheduled quickly, along with a few other plumbing repairs and updates we needed. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled everything in a professional way. They explained the issues clearly, fixed the drain problem, made the needed code corrections, and made sure the plumbing work was completed the right way. The whole process was smooth, and it gave us confidence moving forward with the rest of the remodel. We are very happy with the service and will gladly use them again for future plumbing needs, including drain, shower, and general plumbing work. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable and professional plumbers.
As a combat veteran dealing with severe PTSD and other challenges, I wanted a plumbing company I could trust for an important water pressure tank job, and Curtis & Sons Plumbing was the right choice. I had the chance to meet the owner and then work with Charles. He was finishing the repair under my small mobile home with very limited crawl space, only a few feet to work in, but he kept a great attitude the whole time. Charles came out to check what I thought was a plumbing leak and carefully tested everything at my house, including taking apart and putting back together my backflow preventer, before finding out the issue was affecting the whole area in Harker Heights and was not a problem with my home plumbing after all. He stayed on it the whole time, even while working out in the yard in the Texas heat and rain, and remained professional, patient, and easy to talk to.
