I walked (more like ran) to the fertility clinic ready to do our IUI. Dustin just gave the fresh “sample”. We were READY to get this wait over with and be pregnant!!!! After many rounds of clomid and trying for years. We thought my unexplained infertility would be solved with this IUI procedure. They guided me to the Doctors office instead of the procedure room. I thought well thats odd. I sat there for quite some time. The doctor came in and said nonchalantly two words... “NO Sperm”. Instantly tears fill my eyes and my throat closes ... I’m trying to solve the problem. Maybe its wrong!!!! It has to be! My husband is healthy, everything seemed normal. I called him and said babe please come back up here, you have to try to give another sample!!!! You have no swimmies!! As I met him at the door I could see every inch of color was lost from his face. It was like being a man was literally ripped from his heart. We gave another sample. Still... nothing. So we have unexplained infertility and zero sperm. Every ounce of hope left my body. All the questions and our doctor had no answers. They failed to check his sperm before the IUI because we had it check a year ago and the number were good. Todays consumer is looking specialization. Began treatment with Dr. Buch 1 yr ago this week. Most personable/effective physician I've worked with. More importantly, his overall expertise in optimizing men's health and fitness is superlative!
