We're locals, always looking for new places to try, and didn't even know this place existed until I did some online research for a place we visited over 20 years ago. I couldn't find that place (in another location), but to my surprise found this one instead. They have a parking lot, but we have a dually so we parked on the street, where there was ample space. Usually, when I book a massage, I also plan a brunch beforehand somewhere nearby. It's so convenient that everything is in one place; food, spa, gardens, and even quaint little cottages if you want to stay there. We enjoyed a lovely brunch at the restaurant, where the food was delicious and the staff attentive (Thank you, Billy Frank). You could tell this place was heavily invested in to be absolutely wonderful at every turn. Every detail from the gardens to the massages is well thought out and gives you a very special experience, which is exactly what we were looking for. Darcy and Amy were awesome!
My daughter and son-in-law got us a two night stay for my husband and I as an early anniversary gift. let me just say, the attention to detail is exquisite; from the beautifully landscaped property and the cute little cottages made to look like tiny homes, they got it right! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing, I ordered the salmon, it was cooked perfectly, my hubby had the chicken teriyaki and it was also delicious. Special thanks to our server Anika and the host for their wonderful service. Many other amenities are available like the beautiful spa, yoga, and the Marigold Gift Shop filled with beautiful unique items. We especially enjoyed the breakfast basket that was delivered to our door every morning with a thoughtfully prepared breakfast for two inside. if you are looking for a relaxing retreat to recharge, come here; you won't be disappointed. Fredericksburg, TX is a beautiful place with lots to do.
We had lunch at the Herb Garden yesterday before heading over to the Spa. We use the sauna before retreating to the Relaxation room to await our couples massage. It's a sublime experience...and, they know just where the trouble areas and knots are located. The ENTIRE experience is ALWAYS spectacular!
