I had LONG(foot and a half-ish) curly hair. I also had not cut my hair in at least ten years. My last hair cut was done by myself using meat shearers after wrecking a jet ski on lake McQueeney, trying to sell the story that hair was in my eyes. Long story. Anyway, I have been terrified of having my hair cut my entire life. My fears were immediately mitigated by the warm welcome at Legacy. Dee was so kind and sweet. After a shampoo and conditioning, she really listened to what I wanted. This was my first time at Legacy Salons, and it was quite different than my usual experience with my previous stylist of the past 12 years or so. First, I got my hair washed and that was all I expected, but then the staff washed it again, and then the conditioner. It took a little bit longer, but I wasn't used to my previous stylist going the extra mile. Second, I gave my stylist Amanda free reign to do whatever.
