Martin funeral home east helped put together a beautiful rosary and funeral for my father. Bernie and his staff were so gentle and efficient with all our arrangements and needs. It’s interesting to review a funeral home. It’s hopefully a place you only see once and then you’re done. I will tell you that the majority of our work to bury our brothers was done with Bernie Valdez via phone. He was very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. When we finally met in person, his smile came through and it was evident he cared about the people he was helping. He also cared about the community in general. He was very helpful in getting a service arranged graveside for our brothers.
