The ambience is amazing, with old aristocrat vibes.Has a shoe shine guy and hair salon as well in the lobby. Lots of pop up restaurants, high tea, coffee shop. Definitely worth spending an evening here, do take bookings before you go though.
Well, I am torn because the staff was wonderful and the bed was great, and super clean, and lots of hot water, and really good wine pours (extra stars here), but . . . . - ok, so very strange, a pair of our shoes went missing from our room - expensive men's dress shoes. We think maybe when we went to breakfast? When we first inquired at the front desk, they were responsive and non-perplexed, almost as if, yeah, we've heard this before - but they were nowhere to be found. Upon asking for a video of our door lock, within 30 minutes (I kid you not!) they appeared in one of the lounges. Bizarre to say the least. We had a wonderful stay at The Adolphus over Thanksgiving 2023 as part of our Honeymoon. The hotel is well located and very close to main attractions like Dealey Plaza. A special thank you to Sydney on the front desk who went out of her way to make our stay extra special.
