I have never had a great or even good experience doing this until I met Tom Longville. He does everything he says he will do and more. He totally took care of all the interactions w the insurance company. He always replied promptly to any questions I had. He and his crew even updated me with roof pictures as they were completing the work. Thank you to Jeff and Juan and his crew. Not only did we have roof damage, we also had hail damage that required our house be repainted (Hardy board), all trim, and the cedar accents be resealed/painted. The attention to detail of Leo and Linda was very impressive. They not only work hard, but they notice the little things and want to do the job well. Tom lines out everything in his contract. He confirms all changes w follow-up emails or texts. His communication skills were excellent. Customer service from this company from top to bottom is completely professional, and each person who worked at our house was pleasant to be around. When the job was complete there was literally one roofing nail that I found on the ground. That never happened with the other companies I had used. “After a leak inspection on the first visit and a water test on the second, the Wortham team identified the issue with my roof and repaired it on the same day. Throughout the process, Juan was incredibly patient and helpful every time I called.“

“During a recent sudden storm, we found water coming through the kitchen ceiling. After reporting this to our insurance agent, I looked for a local company with a great reputation. I found Michael Young Roofing after a brief search of companies near me who had excellent reviews. I called Michael who met me within 2 days. He looked at our roof and offered to be present when the insurance adjuster came to see the roof and interior damage. To my surprise, the insurance adjuster recommenced we replace our roof even though it was just 11 years old. Apparently, it was not as good as we had thought.

With an initial claim check in hand, I scheduled the replacement the very next week. Michael and his team arrived early on a Thursday and found several issues with a damaged roof structure and excessive felt from prior replacements. His team resolved all these issues and installed a First Class new roof with shingles better than what we had. The difference was obvious and even my neighbor who was a retired roofer said we had a good team doing the work. It took into the next day for everything to be completed including fastidious clean-up. They had taken steps to protect our plants, side windows, and porches. They thoroughly cleaned up and were gone by noon the following day.

The whole experience was excellent with the team being professional, polite, and efficient. Our new roof is visibly better and we will enjoy years and years of proper protection from the elements.

I am very glad I called Michael Young. He has continued to follow up and took care of all permits and city inspections. We have received a clean approval from the City.
