I hired Alex for my bridal hair and makeup (3 events total) about a year before my bridal events. She was a pleasure to work with. She’s very organized, professional and treats every bride like her biggest priority. She makes sure we are feeling relaxed and confident for our events. The year-long process involved skin and hair consultations, meetings to discuss and finalize looks and of course, the day-of makeup look. Alex was a lifesaver! She doesn’t just do makeup… she helps with jewelry, drapes and is your hype girl! She has so much knowledge of trends and tradition when it comes to styling. I do not wear much makeup and have very particular likes and dislikes with makeup and Alex accommodated everything. I flipped out during my sangeet makeup and Alex remained calm and helped adjust my makeup to better suit my likes. I 100% recommend doing a bridal trial (I didn’t) so Alex can get to know you and your style. Makeup for your wedding is extremely important and I don’t think I could’ve imagined anyone else being there for me!
Alex was the first vendor I booked for our wedding. We literally chose our wedding dates with her availability in mind. Alex is so much more than a hair and makeup artist-- she was like my personal stylist, confidant, hype woman! In the past I've never liked getting my makeup done but I LOVED all the looks Alex came up with. You can't go wrong with MPL!
