I was referred to Dr. Wheeler by my pain management doctor, Dr. Nathan Walters, and felt a sense of trust with both doctors. Both explain procedures in detail so you can understand, both are extremely well educated and knowledgeable in their specialties, and I felt both have a deep concern for their patients. I just met Dr. Wheeler today, but have gone to Dr. Walters for at least 10 years.
Dr Wheeler was very patient, respectful & professional in explaining my status & possible treatment options. I would highly recommend Dr.Wheeler for all of your spinal orthopedic needs.
Dr. Wheeler Gave me a much better explanation of what was going on with my lower back bone than another doctor whom I had visited for this same complaint about two years prior. Dr. Wheeler is a an excellent doctor. However, it would probably help if you brought your wife or husband or a caring friend with you to the visit to help you think of questions to ask of him. ( I suppose that’s good advice for any doctor you see.) He’s great at answering your questions. I thought of a couple of questions later which I wished I had asked at the appointment because Dr. Wheeler is so good at his explanations.
