The ladies always do me right when I visit. They are always on time. I bring my own hair because I am sensitive so I have to wash it first. Bennie was kind and polite when I asked her how many packs I would need for the style I wanted. I am tender headed, so I ask them not to braid tightly and to leave the edges alone. Wonderful work. I get compliments on my hair and everyone asks who did it.They tend to speak in their language all the time. But it doesn’t bother me. I just bring earphones and listen to an audiobook. My husband and I recently moved to Dallas from Florida. I spent about a month trying to find a good place that does braids, faux locs, kinky twist, etc. I finally found Braids by Bennie, and Bennie did my hair the very first time and I loved it. I went a second time and got kinky twist, and I absolutely loved how it turned out as well. This shop is peaceful, calm, professional and never too crowded.
