I've been a patient for a few years and was ready to find a new practice by the way I was treated by staff. When the pandemic hit I just stayed with them because appts were virtual. I went into office for first time in over a year and was pleasantly surprised by how sweet and personable the staff was. They showed care and concern. They wanted to help me. I commented on how different the environment was and they told me they have an entire new front office staff and office manager who were focused on patients. If you read posts from 6 months + ago...they don't apply anymore. This is a new and improved office. I am happy that i didn't leave.

I saw Dr. Barnard for the first time when I was 10 and he was in the strip mall next to Randall's. It's now 40 years later and I'm actually shopping for a new doctor's office. I called for an appointment and they couldn't get me in right away (which is unusual, but there is a pandemic), so my appt was for more than a week away. My prescription would run out in 5 days, so she said no problem, we will call in a refill for 2 weeks to hold you until you come in. Well, several calls later from me and the pharmacy and I couldn't get anyone to refill my prescription. I went 5 days without my medication. Dr. Barnard is a one of a kind doctor who really cares and puts the patient first. He always made me feel comfortable and never judged. I am so thankful that I was able to have him as my doctor for the last 19 years. He will be truly missed in his retirement.
