“Very glad I used Sam for our floors. We got every square foot of our house done, including stairs. My wife and I could not be happier with the turnout. The installers were very professional, polite, and respectful of our home. Sam was always just a phone call away whenever we needed anything. They helped move furniture around, remove and reinstall toilets, as well as unhooked/reinstalled our stove/appliances. There were a few minor issues after the job was done (minor cosmetic), which can be expected when your entire house is re-floored. However, Sam responded immediately and came by personally to ensure everything was taken care of, which it was. I would highly recommend Sam for your floors.“

“Mike and his team were exceptional. This is only one of many examples, but they were the only contractors to put up temporary plastic walls to contain drywall and construction dust. Their tiling work--flooring and backsplash--was beautiful. If we ran into an old or unexpected issue Mike immediately had solutions, and we figured it out.His timeliness was strong. He worked hard to make sure that things were completed.Here, I will add that I had other bids that were lower than Mike's, but my gut told me to go with MIB. And this was the best choice. I'd make the exact choice again.Mike was also a joy to work with. I've worked and met with different contractors, and Mike Scott (MIB) is the only one I've provided to other close friends and family. He's very intelligent, explains his reasoning, and teaches you things. He's also really respectful--I was the main contact for this project--and I never felt like Mike spoke to me differently because I was a woman or anything. Just a really smart and fair. There were little things--like, I know that glass tile often works best with a different grout *and* that other contractors, especially at that time, often use the traditional grout--most people wouldn't know or catch the difference. But Mike does things the right way and knows how to do them the right way.This review is unsolicited and late! The project work happened a few years ago, but the time that's passed means I can tell you how the work held up over time. And you know what? The kitchen is so fresh and a lovely space to stand in. We never had cracked flooring or other things that happen when the installers don't know what they're doing. The kitchen turned out so beautifully.The experience was just such a blessing to my family, and it's very important to me to say so. “I can't say enough good things about my experience. I was leary calling a larger establishment as I had already received a slow and over-priced estimate from a smaller one. I spoke with Ed who seemed to treat my smaller job with the same level of professionalism I would expect had I needed a whole new roof. I only needed an additional vent pipe added. The estimate was far less and I received it much faster than I expected. The workers showed up early, had everything they needed and then some. An adjustment was made to the materials due to an oversight on my part to avoid any possible water leaks which I greatly appreciate. The work was completed quickly and without incident. “Would rate between 4.25 to 4.5 stars, but don't want a 4 too heavily affecting their aggregate review so rounding up. First let me say we're REALLY happy with the final product. This was our second experience with doing updates to this home and at this point we think it's probably normal to expect that the job will take longer than they said it would (in this case significantly longer) and there's the potential for them to book jobs too closely together (I.e. during the first two weeks the main guy working did half days or wasn't here a couple times because of wrapping up another project). Foreman also wasn't here as frequently as we would have liked and that may have kept our project more in line with the projected timeline. With that being said like I mentioned previously we're VERY happy with the final product and they worked with us to address any concerns we had with certain things and Nathan (foreman) went above and beyond when it came to addressing anything we found with the "blue tape walkthrough". Carlos, the tile guy, does great work.“
