He listened and gave very professional advise on our flooring project. Not only did he visit our home which was 40 miles away from his business location to bring samples he came back three times to check up on the job that was being done. With such professionalism on his part and the construction crew, we’ve decided to expand our project with him and remodel our kitchen. “I take pride in doing as much research as possible on just about everything, whether consumed, practiced, or purchased. I like to be informed, and I like to know at least the bare minimum about a subject before I trust what someone could promise me is the “best” version of something. I did about two weeks worth of research not only on companies, but also methods and products used. I am by no means a professional or an expert on floor coatings, but I do think that I know enough to make sure that I’m getting the best result and service for my money. Not only did Jon answer all my questions, but from the research that I did, he knew exactly what he was talking about.One of the differences I noticed when comparing vendors is that Jon actually has quite a few more colors than a lot of the companies out there. If you do any research of your own, you’ll find that there are hundreds of different types of epoxies and materials that could be used to get the final product you’re looking for. I talked to about a dozen companies and while they were all really great at what they offered, they were all about 10 to 15% more expensive, for about the same thing.Jon made the process extremely easy. From scheduling to actually getting the job done while I was not there.I’m a firm believer that someone’s energy is extremely important, and especially when you are allowing them in your home. I felt completely comfortable around Jon. Thor, the golden retriever, agreed. He was so polite and serviceable. If you’re on the fence about it, I can understand why, but I’d like this review to really speak on the fact that I was very careful and diligent in picking a company to get this job done. I’m glad I picked Versatile Coatings. I have a rental property I bought a couple years ago, and I paid someone $1000 to do my garage coating with a DIY kit….mind you, that house is literally only 2 years old, and it looks nothing like this. Had I known…I would’ve gladly hired Jon for that one as well. Spend the extra $ (less than double) and get it done professionally, by Jon.Thanks Jon! Im very happy with my investment!“

“We loved our past experience with William French in 2021 we asked them to update our Jack and Jill bath this summer. The experience was once again fantastic. Gary Jackson helped us selecting all of the materials. His contractor discount came in handy at one of the popular home improvement sites. He chose a great bathtub and the glass for the shower/tub was beautiful. As was the experience last time, Gary and his project manager Joe Norris kept us informed of which trades would be showing up at the house. If you have been frustrated with prior remodeling projects where you have to continue to ask a contractor what happens next, that will not happen with Gary and Joe. They will keep you informed every step of the way. As was the case last time, the project was completed within the estimated time. In this case, less than three weeks from demo to finished product.“

Brian came out, (on time by the way), did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. There wasn't the usual bait and switch to drive up prices as the jobs progressed. The work completed was professional and completed fairly quickly. The thing that really sold me was his integrity and pride in his work. He made sure I was 100% satisfied and when he left, there wasn't any of the usual buyers remorse associated with the random "handy scam".
