thought about giving 4⭐, but we did eventually get what we came for. was referred to Michael's by business customer (automotive) to get cloned key for our 2013 4Runner.took a while to figure out but we eventually got exactly what we needed... plus they threw in the key they cut without the electronics (basically.... just a KEY!). checked out amazing selection of home security options, huge selection of novelty key blanks, and some locks that really blew my mind. they do install locally, a big plus. it cost us a lot to get that extra key for my car, but the peace of mind it'll give me next time I lock my keys in the car is worth it... and it was still cheaper than...read full review
I took my car in to Michael's Keys in Rowlett for what SHOULD have been a normal driver side door cylinder replacement. It ended up being FAR from normal. To Jay's credit, he stuck with it.
He did not get irritated. He did not get frustrated. He didn't even get a little bit mad. He just stuck with it and kept working until he had the job complete, even though that meant that he stayed after closing time.
A dealership, and probably most other locksmiths, would have told me to leave my car and pick it up the next day, but not Jay. He was determined that he would get the job done for me in one trip. ( He didn't know that I live in Wills Point and leaving my car...read full review
