Every single member of the staff, from the front office, to the kennels, to the medical staff are all amazing to work with. They are kind, efficient and they are genuinely interested in helping animals and their owners. Their prices are reasonable and they earn every penny.“

Tracy gave all the information needed and was so outgoing! She had a very sweet tone and was very patient with me. You can tell the receptionists love their job! Needless to say, i have decided to establish with this clinic due to Tracy and the other receptionists professional and positive attitudes!“

608 Hilliard Rd, Temple“They called to reschedule my appointment. I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, a little early, like 5 minutes. I was put in the “cat room”, that smells like it’s name. Waited for over a half hour. No vet showed up to give booster shot. Had to leave for another appointment.
Dr Brown responded to me and apologized for the situation. Just reading her response made me realize this is a great clinic, with caring staff, and that I overreacted to the mishap. This clinic is a long drive from my home, but worth it. My pets are well cared for there and I have been going there for years.“

I think the pricing was reasonable compared to other clinics I’ve been too & they were very thorough on everything. Also helped with referring me to a less expensive ER in the temple area. Now my dog is doing fantastic & better than before. Thank you.“

10438 TX-36, Temple“We recently brought our dog Cubby to Posh Paws for 2 weeks. We missed him a lot and he was so happy to see us when we returned. But Posh Paws took excellent care of him and we totally recommend them. Sam and Nikki did a wonderful job and Nikki even sent videos every few days of Cubby getting along with the other dogs.
This is our third time using Posh Paws and every time we get Cubby back he's happy and we know he's well taken care of.“

16231 FM2115, Salado“My first experience with Animal Medical of Salado was about five years ago when my oldest dog became sick during the weekend. All other vets were closed, and I found them by accident. I don't live near the clinic, so it was a bit of a haul to get there. Unfortunately, the veterinarian wasn't going to make it in time so the tech on her own called another clinic and worked out a deal so my dog could be seen. That was the day I found out my oldest had congestive heart failure. I transferred my animals to AMOS when their former vet became an assembly line of uncaring vets and techs that couldn't be bothered. I remembered how the tech at AMOS went above and beyond to set something up so I could start treatment for my dog.
Ever since I have been taking my three dogs and cat for anything and everything they need. I am not always the easiest person to deal with as my animals mean a lot to me so I can come off at times as a bit annoyed or demanding when they’re in pain. Dr. Santos and her staff [they have changed throughout the years] have always treated my animals and myself very well. Never judging when one of my dogs is nervous, or for my endless questions because I need to understand what is happening fully.
I had to put down my oldest in June 2024. Even though it was expected as aside from heart failure a tumor had started moving organs. I was allowed to grieve in the room with her for hours. Dr. Miller never rushed me, the techs came and sat with me and shared their stories of times with my dog as they loved her as their own. Unfortunately, now I must face the harsh realization that I will have to make that call sooner or later with my middle dog as he was DX with cancer. I know when I must swallow the pain of losing him to make that call for him, I wouldn't have it done anywhere else.
I have experienced the care of great veterinarians and staff, and I have had the misfortune of meeting badly trained or burnt-out veterinarians and staff. I know people aren’t perfect and at times can make mistakes. When mistakes can lead to animals dying or getting sicker quicker it makes you appreciate clinics like Animal Medical of Salado so much more.“

“Our 2 dogs have been in training with Sit Means Sit for 2 weeks and I cannot say enough good things about them. We still have work to do with the dogs, but the transformation in this short amount of time has been remarkable. They took the time to get to know us and the dogs, developed individualized programs to best suit their needs, and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable every step of the way.
We started with day training for both dogs, followed by the board and train for the more neurotic one. Throughout the process, they sent pictures and videos showing the process/progress, gave us clear instructions while demonstrating what to do and say, and were always available to answer questions and address our concerns. Their patience and compassion shows through in all they do.
As, I mentioned, we still have plenty of work to do. This is a process that involves training both dogs and owners, but in a matter of days, our pups are already so much better behaved as well as calmer, more confident, and happy.
I will try to update this review as we move into the group class phase of our program, but we have been thrilled and amazed by our dogs’ growth thus far. We can’t thank our trainers Robin, Tina, & Kindle enough!“
