We moved out of Texas and have struggled to find anything comparable to ALT in our new state! We originally came to ALT to help socialize our Dalmatian in different environments and around new people. We loved their training style so much that we later enrolled our Rottweiler in their board and train program.
We were completely new to professional dog training, and ALT did an amazing job teaching us how to properly set our dogs up for success. They go beyond just “positive reinforcement only” and take the time to teach you how to safely and effectively use tools like e-collars, prongs, and treats as part of a balanced approach.
Their group classes are so much fun, and we always felt supported. There was always enough staff available to give individual attention, so we never felt overlooked. They also offer seasonal classes, which keeps things fresh and exciting.
For example, one of our favorite experiences was when they encouraged us to try dock diving. I wasn’t sure if our dogs would even like it, but with their guidance, we gave it a shot and both of our girls absolutely loved it!
If you’re looking for a fun, supportive, and truly effective training experience, this is the place to go. Because of ALT, we constantly get compliments on how well-trained our dogs are. They’ve been exposed to so many different environments and activities, and we feel completely confident taking them anywhere. You won’t regret it! We miss our ALT family ??“
