Based on the reviews, the Comprehensive Pain Institute, led by Dr. Herrera and his staff, is an amazing group of people. Patients describe the whole establishment as an amazing group who treat them like they matter. The staff is very nice, helpful, and friendly. They listen to patients and treat them with dignity and respect. Dr. Herrera takes the time to listen, is compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients as people, not just another patient. He explains everything well and is gentle during procedures. The staff, including the PA Kim, are also amazing and genuinely care. Patients have had positive experiences with medication changes that have helped them live a better life. The office is easy to get an appointment with, and the wait time is negligible. The main concern is how to keep patients upright and maintain a mostly pain-free lifestyle. Patients who have seen many other doctors say this is a top-notch office where the whole system works well together. It is a life saver for chronic pain sufferers.
I had seen another pain management dr in the past, I was his patient for over a year, he never changed any meds, he never heard me when I said the pain was increasing, I finally gave up and left his office and just decided pain would be my life forever. It took me years before I decided to try one more time with a pain doctor, I could no longer function because the pain was overwhelming. I would like to Share the Very Positive Review of Dr.Herrera and his Staff at CPI. I have been looking for a new Pain Dr after my Dr. retired. After reading such Positive reviews about Dr. Herrera and his Staff, I decided to go see for myself. I can honestly say I was So pleasantly surprised! Everyone is very Nice, and Helpful. Dr. Herrera takes the time to listen, he was compassionate and very respectful of my needs. He made suggestions to my care but wasn't pushy..and he seemed to want the Best for me, as a Patient! Looking forward to continuing my Care with this office.
I can't begin to tell you how much of a life saver this place, Dr Herrera and his staff have been for me . I've been a chronic lower back and both hips pain sufferer for over 25 yrs. I've been to more so called pain doctors than you can shake a stick at ... and a couple of chiropractors whom I thought were going land me in a wheelchair instead of out of one. 5 yrs ago I was seriously ill that required 6 mos. recovery.
