The Paws Resort & Suites is a stunning place, described as the Ritz Carlton of Dog Spas. The facility is owned and staffed with people who are passionate and committed to providing pets with a fun and enriching experience. The staff obviously understands animals. Mallory at reception is repeatedly praised as a wonderful, sweet soul, a ray of sunshine who is professional, kind, and listens well. The handlers take charge immediately to reduce separation anxiety, greeting pets by name and getting them to the back ASAP. They are sweet as punch at pickup, providing professional service. For grooming, the team does a great job. One dog with a very thick coat was dried all the way, and they even cut nails, a task usually done at home. Another owner trusts the resort with their Aussie for over a year and a half, noting the dog drags them into the building and doesn’t look back, clearly loved by the staff. The dog has no stress issues with eating there and gets a great bath and de-shed. At $50/night, it is not the cheapest option, but the peace of mind knowing a pet is in very good hands is worth every cent. Another guest with three maltipoos says this is the best place for grooming, with all groomers being great. While charges can be somewhat unclear on the receipt, overall, guests are very pleased, confident in the service, and will be back.
