Not sure yet, but I will update if things improve.I was very very impressed on my first visit there and the recommendations I got for my jack Russell.Shasta showed me and Wiley the professional service I would like to get any place I go, thank you Shasta.Elissa was very nice as well. I appreciate the vet Gianzer who cared for Wiley.I definitely recommend her.I want to recommend the office but Wiley was seen on a Wednesday and I still have not heard back from anyone with an answer, so right now I'm very disappointed ?.
Shelby was my Vet Assistant and she was soooo sweet and my dog warmed right up! Dr. McCullough was informative and efficient. They were very accommodating to my dog being anxious--we all just got down on the floor with her! My dog has had reoccurring yeast infections and this is the only vet that has even discussed long-term maintenance with me (so I don't have to drop $100-200 every few months). Very very good energy from this place! I'm very glad we went here and strongly recommend it to others. I actually felt good spending the money because I know that my dog is really being taken care of. They're also part of an app where you get points from each visit to earn free things like $ off your visit, a bath, or nail trim!
This clinic is the third clinic I've taken my fur baby to since January 2021. The clinic is spotless; the building is well-maintained; the staff are courteous and knowledgeable; and the lawn is manicured and appealing. That was my first hint that this clinic is only for rich people in Beaumont, Texas, and I was right. I was very pleased with the care my fur baby received, but the cost was staggering. I was told one price, but the price was more than double when I checked out. Also, I never even got to meet the vet, which I thought for more than $400 was tacky, to say the least. So, I am now looking for another vet. I understand that nowadays you can take your pet to the vet online or to Tractor Supply. So, my next stop is to Tractor Supply to see if I can get a script for my fur baby's prescribed medication that she really needs. COVID 19 has given businesses the opportunity to increase prices on everything from toothpaste to gas. And just hold on, because the shut down of the Colonial Pipeline is going to be the next opportunity for businesses to increase prices. I understand that small businesses are struggling, and I understand that small businesses have to pay their staff and overhead, which can be extremely high. But I'd also like to know how many of these small businesses received stimulus money, and many of them continued to operate even during the COVID lockdown. Hmmm, it does make you wonder. In my opinion, vet clinics (state & nationwide) should be required to list a schedule of services and the prices you pay. This information should be readily available to pet owners as they enter the facility. I'm very disappointed in vet clinics in Beaumont, Texas. I guess I'll just have to continue searching, but I'm truly disgusted.
