This is hands-down the place to go if you need anything drum-related. These gentlemen spent more than an hour repairing or replacing my ten-year old's drum set. They patiently and with kindness spent time with my son explaining what they needed to do, and why. They did not try to upsell me. The price is right, and the service spectacular. This is a true Austin treasure. We will be back.

Tommy's is one of the most iconic music stores still in business. Support these guys, they keep the dream alive. Evey drummer, at least one time should visit and geek out at Tommy's.

This wonderful, friendly shop is run by musician's friends, with knowledge and a focus on helping the client. They have great kindness and honesty.
I bought a doumbek drum and, once in my car, minutes later, discovered a small flaw probably caused on transport. It was the only doumbek left and I had classes coming. They offered a discount or take it back and refund. I needed it immediately and asked if I could use it gently and, when they get a new shipment, exchange it for an undamaged one; they agreed.
