About Life Time
Life Time is a comprehensive athletic country club that offers a wide range of amenities and services. The expansive fitness floor features various equipment, and unlimited studio classes and group training sessions are available for members. The facility also includes basketball courts, eucalyptus steam rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools. Members can receive individualized attention and guidance from knowledgeable staff, such as Jarrod Johnson, who provides personalized stretch sessions. The club offers a variety of family-friendly activities, including Kids Academy programs, and has a clean and welcoming environment. The club has made efforts to address concerns about cleanliness and outdated equipment, and members have expressed a desire for a new, larger, and more modern club to accommodate the growing needs. The outdoor pool is nice but has a salty taste, and members are encouraged to refrain from pouring water on the sauna heaters to prevent damage. The staff are very friendly, and the group exercise program is excellent. The club is particularly good for families, as it takes care of kids and offers a great swimming experience. The sauna and spa facilities are also highly praised, and the trainers, such as Jackie, are very skilled in providing personalized services like Thai yoga sessions.
About 2 weeks ago… I received a pedicure from Bailey on or around June 6th.
It was truly the BEST pedicure I have ever received. Two weeks out I still look down at my feet and not only do they look great but more importantly they feel amazing.
The experience at the time was also wonderful as I started to fall asleep towards the end of the service. I happen to be very ticklish on my feet and Bailey was mindful and walked me through that and did not take away from the experience at all.
I wanted to make a point to reach out and state how amazing the service was. I believe I now have my go to technician for my beloved feet.
Great gym with great classes and instructors! I was looking for a gym with good lap pools, clean gyms, and also a cold plunge so you literally can't find a gym that has it all in Austin besides Lifetime. However, my two complaints are the pools and the towel. The outdoor pool needs temperature control. It can get way too hot during the summer, and also way too cold (way colder than air temperature) during the Spring and Fall (and of course Winter). Furthermore, the towels are always super thin and scratchy, taking away from the shower experience here.
For the high price point, having a well-regulated pool temperature and better quality towels would make this perfect,...read full review
I generally enjoy this gym but lately it feels more like a daycare than a gym. The pool and sports courts seem to be overrun with children at all hours of the day participating in “summer camp”. It’s frustrating to pay for amenities that cannot be used.
