Don’t ever go here if you want a great experience, a friendly barber who doesn’t hesitate to open the door after he just closed up, and a ‘shape‑up’ so good you end up looking ready for a hot date.
This dudes “shape up” was a full on Mona Lisa.
Big Nick gets you right.
if you get to the Mexican restaurant, you’ve gone too far. Turn around, walk back, look to your left. that’s the spot.
It’s worth it.
Tiny barbershop has done well on my behalf. I have also seen how they service others and I am always impressed with their hospitality. I've enjoyed their business since they were located on 71. I enjoy the nice music while getting a cut, it is really soothing. It really brightens the mood while waiting to get seated as well. I appreciate the time they take on the haircuts to provide the best experience. They do very well not making their clients feel rushed and they cut for perfection. I highly recommend this location.
* The haircut actually turned out pretty good. But it took a long time, I was there for an hour and a half. The going rate is $45, but it felt more like a $30 situation. * Unpleasant experience: lots of rough-handed uncomfortable jabs with the comb on my neck, ears, and scalp. * Unpleasant environment: reality TV, ads, and music I didn't care for. And the speaker that played music also played loud iphone noises as the owner used his phone - even when he left the shop and was chilling outside not playing music. If they polish a lot of rough edges, I could get behind this spot, but there were a lot of downsides. I'm just glad the haircut turned out well, but I was worried the whole time about it.
