We’d been ‘thinking about’ getting the sliding door replaced for way too long. My husband and I started researching and he discovered Austin Sliding Door. We’d had a few other companies give estimates to replace, never considering that repair was an option, and they wanted to, basically, upsell. Austin Sliding Door told us the frame itself was a good, sturdy frame (about 35 years old) and they could replace the glass, the rollers, and the handle (I’d replaced the broken handle with a cheap Home Depot model), and the price was oh so so much less than replacement.
