I found 1st Choice Energy through the City of Austin Energy Rebate Program and I am so thankful I did! When I called for an estimate I was scheduled right away. Bill Cook came to my home and took the estimate. He listened to my concerns with the current system, walked me through the entire process, shared pros and cons of each line item they were recommending (complete with hand drawn diagrams to explain some of the concepts), and shared the timeline/next steps for the process with a loan through the city rebate program. I appreciate everything Katy and Austin Energy did for me to my home more comfortable me. They took care of all cost and materials and check on me through out the whole process. It was a great experience dealing with them. I didn't know the city did all of this for it's seniors until I went to its weather proofing class.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone was professional, highly knowledgeable, and super friendly. I participated in the Austin Energy program which is also wonderful. It’s been over a year now so I’ve had a full baking summer and one winter ice event. My 1982 house that had little insulation left in it before 1st Choice fixed everything, stayed SO toasty warm I had to keep checking the thermostat to make sure it wasn’t broken! I stay cooler longer in the summer which helps my electric bill. I highly recommend their services.
