Hunterson Farms Rhodesian Ridgebacks Inc Pet Boarding Training

“These are the most amazing breeders. They truly care about every dog in the pack. We were blessed with one of their babies from Honey Buns litter, and she truly is one of the best dogs that we've ever had. I highly recommend Hunterson Farms. Our baby also boards with the Hunterson Farms family and it is truly a wonderful place for her while we are away. ❤️“

“I’ve been 4 or 5 times now with our Bernedoodle who we rescued at 8 years old. She has quite a bit anxiety and Caitlin has gone above and beyond to try and make her as comfortable as possible during her visits. She’s friendly and such a sweet person. She answered a ton of my questions regarding how to take care of her fur. Her prices are great and she is wonderful at what she does! She has always done the cut great and our dog comes back happy, soft, and clean. You can tell she truly cares about the pups she services.“

Oakwood Kennels Pet Boarding Training

“We had a great experience with Oakwood Kennels and Drew. Sending Coco away for training was a very difficult decision for us because she is truly our baby, and being away from her for that amount of time was not easy.

Some of the training methods, particularly the use of an e-collar, were naturally a little intimidating for us at first. Even without us expressing those concerns directly, Drew could tell we were a little uneasy and was very attentive to that. He took the time to explain how and why the collar was being used and even demonstrated the level for us so we could better understand what Coco was experiencing. He consistently made sure we were comfortable with the process and reassured us along the way, which really helped us trust the process.

We were able to visit Coco after the first two weeks and work with her hands-on. It was great to see her progress firsthand and learn how to continue reinforcing her training at home. It also gave us a chance to see how comfortable and happy she was there. Coco clearly had a blast playing and interacting with the other dogs, and you could tell she respected Drew as her trainer while also being comfortable with him and enjoying being around him. That was very reassuring for us to see.

Most importantly, Coco came home well trained, and we can absolutely see the difference. As difficult as it was to have her away from us, the results made the time apart worth it. Drew did a great job helping us understand that training is a process and giving us the confidence to trust it, even when it was difficult for us as owners.

We really appreciate the time, patience, and effort Drew put into Coco and into helping us along the way. We are very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Oakwood Kennels. For anyone who may be nervous about sending their dog away for training, our advice would be to trust the process, ask questions, and give it a chance. We are very glad we did.“
