We had a great experience with Oakwood Kennels and Drew. Sending Coco away for training was a very difficult decision for us because she is truly our baby, and being away from her for that amount of time was not easy.

Some of the training methods, particularly the use of an e-collar, were naturally a little intimidating for us at first. Even without us expressing those concerns directly, Drew could tell we were a little uneasy and was very attentive to that. He took the time to explain how and why the collar was being used and even demonstrated the level for us so we could better understand what Coco was experiencing. They took great care of our Kate while training her to be a great bird dog! They truly care about all the dogs entrusted to them. Highly recommend them for caring for your four legged babies!

Drew did an amazing job with my German Shepherd. She is a 4 year old and I assumed she was untrainable, but I was wrong. I can walk her now with no leash and she follows all commands to a T.
