Amarillo Family Physicians

The waiting room was EXTREMELY cold, to be fair that is stereotypical for doctors offices, but it was much easier to recognize that the room was cold since I was there for so long. An hour waiting, which would not be a problem if it weren't for the fact that it was advertised as being a no longer than 15 minute wait. However the staff makes up for it. We had an extremely nice nurse and doctor who knew exactly what they were talking about and explained in nice understandable detail 3.5/5

Was told on Monday, by Open Air MRI, that my results had been sent that morning but would be resent to Dr. Malone’s office. After another phone call and a message sent through the patient portal, I have still not been given results. The MRI was two weeks ago this Friday. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to wait for dr’s office to contact me with results. May be time for a new doctor.

I truly appreciate my doctor and the nurses who assist me. Dr. Malone is a fantastic physician who genuinely listens to my concerns, and the nursing staff is always wonderful and supportive. However, I have consistently had negative experiences with the front desk administrators. They often argue among themselves, interrupt each other while helping patients, and most recently I was disregarded and dismissed when trying to discuss a billing concern. I've also had several strange phone interactions, including unexplained calls asking to verify my address. There is a lack of professionalism and customer service at the front desk.
