“American Door and Window is a medium-sized company that offers a level of personal service that reminds one of a caring 'mom & pop' business. Last summer one of my heavy-framed, tempered glass storm doors 'blew out' into a zillion pieces. After pricing a replacement at nearly 200$, my neighbour suggested I try American. I'm glad I did! I dropped the frame off, and the completed job was ready in less than a week (despite it being in the 'busy time') and having to be special ordered from a bulk supplier. In addition to repairs, American offers new installation and bid work to area contractors and home owners. Sorry, but I had to deduct one star, as American does not accept credit cards. Check or cash only! American is between 'new' Hwy 27 and the 'old' Hwy 27 on Harrison Road, across from a Hardies location.“
