Veterinarians near Old Hickory

“My new puppy Zaya got a hold of a fishing lure, and it went through her tongue and gum line under her teeth. This was last Wednesday, and most vets around Old Hickory were closed. The ones that were open told us we needed an appointment, even after I explained that my puppy was in an emergency and we needed to be seen ASAP. I used Google, and it helped me find Family & Friends Veterinary Clinic. We walked in, and we weren't even there two minutes before they took her from me, sedated her, and removed the fishing lure. I've decided that if anyone's going to be my puppies' vet, it'll be them. They didn't even hesitate and went into action to help her, and that means the world to me. Forever grateful! Thank y'all for your kindness and quick action.“

“Dr. Conner Smith and the staff were very friendly and did an excellent job of handling Rocco. Rocco is a anxious dog and gets scared easily. The staff took this in to great consideration and paid great attention to Rocco's warnings of having enough for the day. They made wise decisions in his care to not upset him and made his experience a wonderful one. I really want to thank you guys for the genuine loving care you provided for Rocco.“

“Where do I even begin?
I cannot give enough praise to blue oasis.
I called in yesterday trying to find the best place for my very anxious/reactive senior pup. He had a terrible experience years ago at another vet, so I was very apprehensive about bringing him in.
Joy was SO helpful and so understanding over the phone. She gave me a game plan to bring him - with the least amount of distractions for him. I already felt so much better about the visit before we got there.

We got there today and let me just say.. WOW!
They. Were. Absolutely. Amazing.

Dr. Haines and the nurse Mackenzie - were already in the exam room waiting for us, treats in hand. They were so welcoming that he warmed up to them immediately.
Puppers didn’t even need his muzzle- which he was THRILLED about- because he hates it!

We now have a plan moving forward, to get him all fixed up and I’m beyond happy.

Let’s just say- when we got back to the car- I sobbed! I was so relieved and happy!!
Then I came straight to Google to leave this review!

Dr. McCormick and his staff took excellent care of my dog. He was very knowledgeable and explained in detail how to treat her at home. I was very grateful that he was patient and did not rush me out.
