“Unfortunately, I had a poor experience. We were booked for service and were called to reschedule shortly after the planned arrival time because the cleaner was feeling ill on the way over. I was understanding and rebooked for the following day and planned accordingly. Then we were told that is not possible because the employee for tomorrow just “had a fire and thank goodness her five kids are okay”. That is awful but I felt very guilt-tripped, and still booked for a few days later if they can find staff. Shortly after, I decided to call and cancel because I needed the work done sooner rather than later. I had lost confidence that anyone will show up/actually be available. Then I was told we were back on for the following day but I still wished to cancel. They would not wave the $50 cancellation fee. I felt that in these extenuating circumstances at the very least that fee could be waived, since I effectively was cancelled on twice. I tried to make it clear that this did not feel well as a customer and that it put me off for future business.
