My children love dance classes with Ms. Gay! She has been dancing since she was five years old and she has been teaching dance for sixty-three years! Ms. Gay cares for each of her students and she teaches them to respect their bodies. She is a classy lady, and her students' dance reflects it. The end of the year recital is a celebration of art and accomplishment, but it is not a competition. The students feel at ease to perform their best for their families with structure but no pressure. My youngest dancer was three years old when she started dance with Ms. Gay, and she could easily go through her dace positions verbally and physically by the end of the year. My older dancer performed beautifully at the recital, and I did not expect for her to do as well because of her short attention span, but she responded well to the gentle encouragement of Ms. Gay and her staff. Anyone who is interested in enrolling their son or daughter in dance classes should call Ms. Gay for more information.
