A year ago, I found an injured kitten in the road, clearly just recently hit or thrown from a car. He needed immediate medical care. My dog had recently had a 10k ER STAY at another vet, and there was no way I could afford another giant ER bill so soon, especially on an animal that wasn't even mine. But, there was no way I was leaving him in the road. So, I grabbed him up, and called Vol Vet. They knew me from my biweekly visits with my own dog for follow up, and my recent vet hx. They agreed to take the kitten on and see what they could do for him. He ended up recovering, and one of the vet techs adopted him since my dogs are not cat-safe.
These are, seriously, the BEST PEOPLE.“

Dr. Marine listened to my concerns, developed logical differential diagnoses, took steps to identify the true medical issue, explained our treatment and diagnostic options, performed the procedure with great care and compassion, answered all my phone calls and requests, collaborated with other vets to create an appropriate care plan, and followed-up to check on post procedure well-fare. She included me in the decision making process and trusted my own medical knowledge to treat me like an equal in the care management plan. “So far we have had a really great experience here. We had a pup that needed a quick exam for strangles. They charged us $57 total with meds. They then sent it more prescriptions and didn’t make us come back for a second visit for no reason as the pup was doing good just needed to be on meds longer. I hate vets that try and make you broke but they don’t. They helped us heal our baby without ruining our finances“

“I have been coming to countryside since 2019. Monica has seen all of our dogs so I can't really speak on the other vets. She is amazing. The techs are amazing. The office staff is always so nice. Monica saved my yoshi bear. She has been there for me and my family for all of our dogs and their needs. Monica has helped 5 of our seniors cross the rainbow bridge over the years and i cannot praise enough the care and compassion her and her team show towards us and our furbabies. I see there are some unhappy reviews and I would expect that because there is no perfect business out there. I refuse to take my animals anywhere else. The vets do their best to make our animals feel comfortable and safe. I know since covid they changed up in not letting us owners come back with our pets. I feel they are looking out for the best interest of our pets. Sure I would love to go in with them, but if it helps the vets and techs to do what they need to do without the strain of us being in the way, then so be it. Not everyone will have a perfect experience but we should extend grace as everyone that works there may be going through something that we don't know about just as in any work place. This place is amazing. Establish that relationship with them. They are worth it.“

“Dr B is wonderful! The first time she came to see our baby, Lucy, was a blessing. She took care of Lucy's skin issue, caught her up on vaccinations, and loved on her. Then she asked if could pray with us. While we were caught off guard, we were very touched by her request and said yes. My husband is bed bound and the prayer for all three of us was great. Lucy loves Dr. B ..... until the nail clippers come out. Even then, she tolerates it because Dr. B talks soothingly to her the whole time. Love you Dr. B!“

“I’m fairly new to goat owning and needed a vet out quickly for one of my does. Dr. Ramsey was able to come out on a weekend and give her some meds. He took time to look over my other goats and got them up to date on vaccines. While he was out, he took time to educate me on goat rearing and came up with a treatment plan. Will be using him for my vet going forward.“
