Josh took time out of his evening to return my call about issues with our furnace. He told me whether or not he gained my business, he just wanted to make sure I was educated to be safe. “Twice our 20+ year old central air unit decided to stop working. Both times right at the onset of a heatwave. The first time (3-4 years ago) we called a competitor to Langland's and after 2 hours they gave up and said it was not repairable. We called Langland's and even though they were super busy, they found the time to come out. Literally took them 30 minutes to get our AC back up and running. The second time (today) we didn't waste our time calling someone else. This repair was a bit more work but once again the were quick, professional, and didn't mess around. Our home is cool and it's occupants are happy. As long as Langland's is in business they will be the only place in Brookings we call for heating or cooling issues.“

“The heating element in my furnace would ignite the flame, but as soon as it tried to cycle, it would shut off. I got home from work Tuesday at 2AM to my furnace, non-stop cycling. I work second shift and sleep during the day, so I had to go through a cold week. I had today (Friday) off. I called them when they opened and they said they would send somebody out. 2-2.5 hours later they showed up and got it fixed in maybe 20 minutes. My stepdad recommended them to me and I would recommend them to anyone else. All I can say is thanks. I can't comment on the price because they only just left, but they recharged my central air twice and were very reasonably priced.“

The onsite inspection was thorough. The technician was very professional, patient, approachable, and responsive.
