“We scheduled a roof inspection with Brandon, from Hixon Roofing. He was on time and very pleasant to work with. A drone was used to inspect the roof, then Brandon walked the roof to verify potential problems.
We discussed repair costs which didn't seen out of line. I asked him how much life was left with our current roof and he said approximately five years. This corresponded with a previous inspection, from another company, a few days earlier.
I like to point out Brandon never suggested replacing our roof. However, I put the question to him. He had an app which gave him detailed information regarding materials required. He came up with a total cost, I looked at my wife, she agreed and gave the thumbs up to replace the roof.
I have to say I was surprised when Brandon said it would take only one day for replacement. I also requested a supervisor to be on site during the project.
Materials were delivered on time. The following day a crew of seven men arrived at the crack of dawn. They began work shortly after. Seve arrived, introduced himself (another pleasant person to work with) and said he work remain until the job was completed.
I'll try and make this short. The crew worked extremely well together. Very little talking, each man knew his job. The current roof was removed and the new one installed with no damage to our neighbors' home, our plant life, which had been covered, or to our home. Magnets were used to gather up as many loose nails around the property.
I had expected a lot of extra material, to my surprise there was just one, opened roof shingle bundle left when the job was completed at approximately 6:30 in the afternoon.
