“All I can say is WOW! I walked into a beautifully decorated nail salon and had a wonderful mani/pedi experience. Naresse actually soaked my gel from my nails without the use of a drill! My nails feel so good. I even have a even shape to my nails. Perfect! Then she gave me a 3 step Vosech pedi which transformed my feet into picture perfect. I said all this to say, Naresse is an excellent Manicurist. I really enjoyed my time with her. She explained everything I wanted to know about nail care and more. Bless you....“

“Classes were exactly as advertised, books and supplies were provided. Skills needed for the exams were practiced during sessions and with clients. I also had the opportunity to experiment different nail enhancements, builder gel was my favorite. The instructor runs through what to expect on both the theory and practical exams as well as help pack up the bag needed for the practical. I felt thoroughly prepared for both exams taken.“
“This is no longer Barnes Hair & Spa.It is now an event center!Great space, clean and very pleasant.We went to a baby shower. It was well decorated and catered but as far as I know these services were not provided by Barnes.Problems,1. No parking close by because its downtown.2. On entering there is a smell of hair product chemicals. (Perm chemicals)3. Restrooms are not marked, I had to ask.4. The Barnes Hair name is still out front and no address number.Nonetheless, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. I think this can be a great place to have your event.Hopefully, management will correct these minor problems, (smell & clear signs) except parking no fix for that!We may rent it some day for a small group!Thanks Dr. C“

“went in to get a one color gel manicure (it was $50). i walked in on a tuesday around 1 PM, where it was not busy at all and they were able to take me right away. the nail tech was friendly and met my requests of length and shape, took great care to do a nice job without any pain or discomfort (i am so scared of the cuticle trimming part but this went very smoothly).i will say he was maybe a bit heavy handed with the polish, probably to get full coverage in fewer coats (since less coats = less time under the lamp = less UV on my hands), which i appreciate, but it did result in a slightly uneven texture on the nails. tried to show it in a pic.one nail had a curing issue and he did take the time unprompted to smooth it out and redo it. however, i think the issue would have been avoided to begin with if the coats had been lighter? white is notoriously the least forgiving color imo so i think most instances wont present these issues!overall i definitely recommend this spot!“
