“We are new to the area and have 4 dogs, all 4 dogs have been seen and treated by Dr. Holden's office, either by Dr Holden or another vet that works with him. I have had nothing but the best experience with this vet. Prices are very affordable. I will not consider taking my fur babies any place else. The ladies that work in the office are all very nice, helpful and caring. So if you need a vet in Beaufort while visiting or live here in Beaufort this is the place to take your fur babies for the best care.“
“I have been very happy for the past 8 years with Affordable Pet. The vets and the staff are very kind & friendly. The walk in hours and location are convenient. Highly recommend!“

Amazing people, knowledgeable vets, and I love that they lay out your options in a comprehensive way instead of shoehorning you into using one solution or another.“
“My sweet pup Stevie was running in our yard and essentially stabbed herself in the chest on a large piece of driftwood that had come up from the marsh. We just moved to the area and hadn't been to a vet in the area yet. She had a large hole in her chest, that had me, quite frankly, terrified. My son and I got her in the car and I looked for the closest open animal hospital I could find on a Saturday. Luckily, that was PRVH.I called them on the way and let them know the situation. They helped me get her out of the car and took excellent care of her. They sedated her, did xrays to make sure she hadn't punctured the chest cavity and wasn't internally bleeding, and stitched her up.Dr. Marikay was kind and helpful. The rest of the staff was so caring and kind to both Stevie and myself, and when I called back multiple times with a million questions, they handled me with continued grace and kindness. To those of you complaining about cost, it's all about perspective. In other towns, veterinary care is more expensive. Emergency vet care at an emergency clinic is WAY more expensive. I highly recommend acquiring pet insurance for your fur family members. Yes, it costs money each year. But it is also there in case of emergencies like this one, to help offset the costs incurred.I'm so grateful to Dr. Marikay and the rest of the staff at PRVH for taking such good care of my sweet girl.“
