“We have now used New Beginnings Construction for the third time in 6 years for different projects on our 45 year old home. This time we needed to have the main house and detached garage roof replaced. As always. NBC was wonderful and we are greatful they take such good care of our needs. Robb Suggs came out promptly to look over our roof, take pictures and measurements and gave us a quote. AND not one quote, but three quotes for us to explore all options available to us. We decided on our option and scheduled a date for beginning. Of course the skies had other days in mind, so we all go with the flow literally! There was great communication as to when to expect materials to be delivered and for days they would be here for the work. And they were here at the appointed time and early in the morning. The crew was quick to set up and get started. NBC brought tarps to add to the few we had and they covered EVERYTHING! The crew worked continuously getting the old shingles off (not an easy feat), identifying rotten or weak sheathing, replacing areas of need, applying underlayment, drip edges, stepped flashing, and putting on the new shingles. Andrew Russell was the site chief and was here to communicate all concerns and we weighed our options together. Communication is key and there was certainly honest communication at every step. One crucial discovery was the underlying material used on the dormer windows (which after 45 years was basically non existent)! They got a bid from the carpenter and we put in a change order, all within 25 minutes of finding the problem. NBC resheathed the dormers and the carpenter was there the next day to rebuild the outside. It took two days to do the roofing part and an extra day to fix the dormers. It could not have gone any better. I must include in my review the cleanup. It was the best cleanup ever! They had tarps covering the external area and foliage and they worked at keeping it clean as they tore things apart on the roof. They were seriously on safety alert not only the crew on roof but also everyone on the ground. I really think my yard, garden beds, driveway and deck were cleaner when they finished than when they started. NBC is hands down THE BEST! We will use them again as we are constantly fixing and repairing to keep our home up to date. Thank you New Beginnings Construction for a job EXCELLENTLY done. God Bless you all!
