“Woke up to an absolute disaster on a Friday morning. That being my hot water heater decided life wasn’t worth living anymore and took its last breath. What’s worse, is that on its way out, it took out the water pressure regulator with it leaving my family and I with jumping and shuttering pipes, cold morning showers, and regrets.
I called up the local utilities, they said the joke was on me, their systems were good. I then called one of the big name brand companies, one with funny commercial adds that are borderline annoying after the 1800th time they interrupt your 90 minute Rock block on the radio, something about a Walrus poopin on the floor… I dunno. Anyways, they sent a guy out, he had a look around, agreed that the hot water heater was dead and needed replacing and provided me a good, better, best quote. The good was essentially just get used to bathing my child in ice water for this many thousand dollars, better was he’d install half the parts I needed for more thousand dollars and best was he’d install the new parts, smile and bring that shotty walrus over for a selfie for the most thousand dollars.
I was nearly defeated. I work in public sanitation, and unfortunately haven’t struck it big yet. In fact I’m so far from making it big, I ride on the back of the truck. I simply couldn’t afford a fifty five hundred dollar repair. (Yea, you read that right) However, I had to do something, I learned cold showers makes my wife mad. Cute, but mad.
Anyway I took a chance and called Lanteigne Plumbing. Off of a Google search. Joe himself showed up at my home quicker than my favorite pizza delivery man. He had a look around, took a few pictures and told me straight up, “Yeah, I can fix this.”
When he came in at WAY under half of the stinky walrus fella, I was not only shocked - but sold. He explained what needed to be done, the ways he could do it and what he suggested. When he said, he wouldn’t only get the job done, but that it would be done by Lunch time the following day. I coulda cried. Joe seems like such a good guy, I bet he might’ve even had a little cry with me, or at least awkwardly lent me his shoulder for a moment.
Joe, a man of his word had a crew of two at the house at 7AM sharp. These two got to work immediately, and again, like Joe said - they were all wrapped up by lunch. These two went above and so far beyond to get my family and I back up and running again - I didn’t even know that kind of service existed anymore.
I couldn’t be happier with Lanteigne Plumbing LLC. The company is a shining star. Joe, his crew, and the staff behind the scenes are incredible, experts at their craft and the definition of consummate professionals.
