This YMCA isn’t just a place I workout at, it’s a welcoming community I look forward to visiting regularly. Staff are helpful, well informed and they always greet you with a wonderful smile. Dominic especially has a kindness that people gravitate to.It’s a busy center with the kids area filled, swimming meets; outdoor park; an indoor and outdoor basketball court, and many group classes. There’s always a knowledgeable trainers on the floor ready to assist and answer questions. The facilities are clean and well kept. I usually had to go change a diaper, but then I could go back and do yoga. Or swim. Or walk on the treadmill. Or - best of all - sit on the recumbent bike and leisurely read a magazine. I really like the staff in the Kids Care, and the front desk staff were always kind and welcoming.Having family out-of-state, I really needed those smiles. I highly recommend the Kent County YMCA....read full review
