The Arcade, 65 Weybosset St, Providence“I’ve been going to Jaclyn for a few years now, and we’ve tried a lot of different styles—but her curly cuts are always my favorite. She brings every idea I have to life with such attention to detail and a great eye for what suits me. The salon itself has such a warm, welcoming vibe. All the stylists are personable, and sometimes there’s even an adorable little poodle mix to greet you at the door. Can’t recommend this place enough—truly a gem.“

90 Spruce St, Providence“The place is nice, clean and the vibes are immaculate!
After my surgery last year I lost a lot of hair and it was very damaged so I decided to chop it off with Patricia and she gave me my confidence back! :) My hair is growing out so nice and healthy now, I get so many compliments and I feel so much better about myself. Patricia educated me on how to style it and take care of it to avoid further damage. She was amazing. 10/10 experience!“

43 East St, Providence“I highly recommend this hair salon. I brought my teenage daughter in for a layered trim that requires a light hand and subtlety. Both of us were delighted with the fabulous results thanks to the very skilled expertise of our talented hair stylist, Emily! This salon is now our new local go-to spot?“
“My grandson goes to Michael when he needs a haircut. He’s been a customer for a few years now. He’s 13 and picky about his hair.
My grandson is now 19 and we are still customers of Salon 888. He’s still super
picky and won’t let anyone but Michael work on his hair. He goes through fads where the colors keep changing as well as the style and Michael accommodates him. Plus, Michael is personable and a real sweetheart to talk to. If my best friend wasn’t my hairdresser, I would be a customer Salon 888.“

There are not enough great things i can say about her. She has great prices overall, is sweet, quick with almost little to no pain. She is just someone you can feel comfortable with. i highly recommend trying her. while my appointment once she noticed my feet needed a pedicure and she went ahead and offered to give me a full treatment- it was wonderful! ?“

1453 Broad St, Providence“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ just moved to rhode island from seattle and tried a few barbershops before landing here — sammy feliz has easily been the best experience by far. he’s super efficient, smooth with the clippers, and pays real attention to detail. he doesn’t push back the hairline, keeps it natural, and uses scissors when it matters. clean lines, great vibe, and you can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. definitely my go-to guy from now on. highly recommend“

118 Valley St, Providence“I'm only giving 5 stars so this can be seen and folks can make informed decision. I too drove from MA because of the reviews. When I opened the door the smell of burnt hair hit me in the face. This would usually make me immediately run in the opposite direction but I came so far I said let me give them a chance. Boy am I regretting that choice..they point to wear your supposed to go..no one asks what you want done unless you just start telling them..so I figured everyone just getting the same thing..you literally have to tell them as soon as you sit down because they won't ask..I got a wash and what I thought was deep conditioner and color rinse. They told me after wash and dryer to sit in a chair so it was like 8 minutes and no one came to do roller set..so I asked the washer if she was going to roller set..she then Says it's too late to do it and it's better to just blow dry...not true..but whatever. As I was sitting there waiting to get called next I was hoping I did not get the stylist who had lots of smoke coming from their chair..low and behold that's who I get..I will say that everyone's hair is different so if you have your tools cranked up on high for everyone maybe you should consider turning it down a notch...long story short they burned the hell out of my hair so badly that it took 10 washes for me to get the burnt hair smell somewhat out of my hair. When I washed my own hair I kept getting a chemical smell like relaxer. So I'm not sure what they put in my hair but it wasn't deep conditioner and it stripped the moisture out of my hair. 2 weeks later my hair still has a faint burnt smell and i have been trying to use various products to get the moisture back. Now I will say some of the stylist looked like they took care in peoples hair and it looked nice when they left..I'm just saying this was my experience and I won't be back“

Colleen is extremely trustworthy, professional, and just knows how to bring your hair back to life and create the vision you’re looking for. She is knowledgeable on all the hair trends, colorings, cuts, etc. When I first came to Colleen’s salon, I had hair that was damaged from a previous salon that I had gone to. She was able to fix my hair, and made me love going to a salon again! If you’re looking for an awesome stylist and even better experience, book your appointment with cocobeauty!“

She did an amazing job, she’s very knowledgeable working with the kind of hair texture my daughter has (African American) and she’s great with kids as well. The salon is clean and everyone was super nice and accommodating, even watching baby boss for my 4 year old the entire time. We can’t wait to go back and see what Nelcy will create next time.“
