You will learn throws, rolls, how to escape from someone grabbing your arms, hands or clothes, and hand grab techniques. You will have the opportunity to work with David Halprin Sensei, 7th dan (7th degree black belt), who earned his rank in the Aikido World headquarters in Tokyo. I also like that we have female instructor seminars! This is a very special place, and we are fortunate to have it in Providence.“

They took the time to communicate with him directly and also engaged in a one-on-one conversation with us, which allowed us to grasp their process, values, and teaching approach. “I have been coming to Villari's Martial Arts Center after finishing pt for a total hip replacement. I have been attending the class Tai Chi for Arthritis. In addition to Tai Chi, Master Leong has also been instructing the class in stretches that have helped my flexibility with my hip. In talking with Master Leong, she has studied with instructors in order to develop this class.In September of 2020, I moved from the Tai Chi for Arthritis to practicing "regular" Tai Chi. I have found it to be very beneficial with my balance and movement. I would highly recommend trying Tai Chi.“
