“I had a place in mind to alter my Enzoani wedding dress prior to the pandemic because I read they had worked with such dresses, but they closed down during the pandemic! =(So I rushedly looked for another location in Ottawa with good reviews. In hindsight I don't know why I did Ottawa. Yes we were having our wedding in Ottawa but we lived in Brockville, moving to Gananoque. I guess I just felt there would be better services in a large city.Theresa took me on and I explained what I wanted with the dress - to be fitted (obviously), and a bustle. I showed her how my dress had an attachment train and the dress itself had little hooks to connect it to.I scheduled appointments well in advance. I was often coordinating them in conjunction with our other Ottawa appointments regarding the wedding, often taking time off work to come up.On one occasion I came for my appointment and she said it wasn't done. She looked very upset at herself and said that someone else had lost so much weight and she had a lot on her plate. I get it, but I drove from Gananoque. She asked if I could return the next day. No I could not. It was a very expensive gas drive at the time. I left, defeated, going to try to figure out my life. My husband was in the car and told me to go back and sort it out, at least try it on again to see if I could do our choreographed dance in it. It's a good thing I did? She had found the dress, it was not done but half done? Also, no way I could do our choreographed dance in it so we went out to find a dance dress.We scheduled an appt for last pickup and she told me that I need to remind her? This is bizarre to me because I don't know why I need to remind you of the appointment you made with me, you are the business. But regardless I put a reminder to myself with all my crazy life to remind her of our appointment the day before the next one.All in all the dress was done very well. It's an amazing dress so it would have stolen the show either way. However, the hooks for my special attachment disappeared on one part. We found most of them but I think one was lost in the alterations. Would have been nice to have a heads up.I would work with her again if I were local, but for someone who cannot go through the scheduling hoops I would not recommend.“
