I see him mainly for my lower back pain but he performs a variety of chiropractic adjustments including for neck pain, shoulder pain, and knee pain to bring every part of the body into balance. He will only treat you for as much care as you need—some chiropractors in Lancaster require you to go every week, but with Dr. Kettering I only go every two or three weeks when I need adjustments. “I have been a patient of Dr. Jim for nearly 3 years now. When I moved to Central PA from Philadelphia suburbs I needed to find a provider to replace my previous chiropractor of whom is seen exclusively for the prior 10 years. I burnt through several who could not provide me with the relief of my swimmers shoulder and cervical issues. After searching for certidied ART providers in my area Dr. came up on the list and his qualifications are top notch. I decided to give the office a try and to drive over an hour to get care. I am so glad that I did because Dr. Jim was the only provider who was able to provide relief for my issues. After a set of a few visits, I was pain-free and now only visit the office for maintenance and upkeep. This office is located in a large gym, but the facility is extremely clean And professional. unlike many of the other pro providers, Dr. Jim takes his time to listen and always does thorough adjustments along with soft tissue work to Make sure that I leave feeling better than when I came in. He has a pretty busy practice, but he always takes his time as compared to other providers who run a clinic setting and give you those 2 to 3 minute adjustments and before sending you on your way. I have a sports medicine background, and can pretty much say with confidence that this practice is amongst the best around if not in this state of PA. Highly recommend!“

“I have been a practicing chiropractor in Virginia for almost 30 years. My wife has EDS with the accompanying dysautonomia and mast cell issues. She has struggled incredibly hard just to function for the past three-plus years, and we have searched for specialists who could help us with a diagnosis and strategies for dealing with this debilitating condition. Those who struggle with it know the daily struggle all too well. Multiple emergency room visits, doctors of all types who just don't understand the condition, and even some who do understand it but honestly don't know how to help with it. We heard about Dr. Lasko and I was hopeful, but wanted to make sure this was not just going to be another approach that didn't work. I emailed his office, and he called me the next day to speak with us for a half hour (!) about his approach. I found him to be a kind, caring, humble doctor and was looking forward to our visit. The nature of Dr. Lasko's work requires more one on one time than most doctors are willing to give. We are coming to the end of our weeklong treatment with him today, and this man has literally halted his life to help my wife. His testing is detailed and exacting, and he can accurately assess all of the functions of the brain and spinal cord, specifically the autonomic nervous system and where it is misfiring, injured, or otherwise not doing its job accurately and effectively. His treatments are simple but extremely helpful and measurable. He takes an approach where he re-builds proper nervous system function from the most basic functions to the more complex. During the week, Dr. Lasko saw my wife for multiple hours per day, texted back and forth with me to see how she was responding, met with me over coffee one night to discuss her home care, and came to our Airbnb twice when she wasn't well enough to make it into his office. That type of care is non-existent these days. In an EDS world, I am not easy to impress based on my experiences so far but Dr. Lasko's knowledge, experience, expertise, humility, and professionalism far exceeded my expectations. We have hope for a future for the first time in quite a while. The road will be difficult but at least I have confidence we are on the right road. One last point. Dr. Lasko does not simply treat you for a week and leave. He follows up, adapts the treatment as you adapt, and is available via phone or email for questions or other issues. He truly cares about his patients.I cannot recommend this doctor highly enough. His treatment is worth many times what he charges.“
